Love A Friend-Loose A Lot
written by Lady Deathstrike02:50 AM 4/20/05When I was seven and first saw your face
I hid behind my mom
and watched every move you made
When I was eight you tought me how to climb a tree
I fell down,
you comforted me
When I was nine you loved to tease
I loved your attention
But wished you would love me
When I was ten I gave you a kiss on the cheek
I dont think you remember
You where asleep
When I was eleven I drew hearts around your name
Everyone saw
And then the laughter came
When I was twelve I began to see
The way you looked at other girls
Wasn't how you looked at me
When I was thirteen we where in our favorite store
A girl came over-"I'm Trent's girlfriend"-she said
You had never mentioned her before
When I was fourteen I caught you kissing her outside the school
You couldn't understand why I was so upset
But to me it seemed you had broken every friendship rule
When I was fifteen I watched you walk away from me
Sorrow, loving a friend
Why couldn't you see?
When I was sixteen I made up my mind
We'll remain best friends forever, darling,
but I'll never stop loving you until the day I die |
