» Poem: Stream of Unconsciousness
Stream of Unconsciousness
written by MintyFreshGirl

Just for a second
you were looking at me
like I was something
that requires postage.
What a joy.
You make car really fast
and danced with my life
until it was delirious
and lost in translation.
Just drink some cough syrup.
Drink it in like pain
and go back to bed.
Children run out of excuses,
out of good days.
Happy happy in this parade to celebrate?
Me too.
Well, to tell you the truth,
she's parked
in a car,
rocking
back
and forth
mumbling
to herself
on a beach
of white.

THis was just some random thing I wrote in my very very boring AP US history class without really even noticing i was writing. I was just daydreaming and looked down at my notes and I had written this. Weird.
