» Poem: Look What He Did
Look What He Did
written by intearsforever

She was never okay,
She was never mended,
Step away,
And watch her fade away.

You let her down,
You left her there,
To drown.

It wasn't her fault,
That you were always there,
It wasn't her fault,
That she starved herself for your approval.

She did it for you,
It was all because of you,
Now look what you have done,
It seems you have won.

She was never okay,
She was never mended,
Step away,
And watch her fade away.

You never once told her good job,
You never once said you were proud of her.
She was left there,
To rot away in what soon became a blur.

If maybe you had once told her you loved her,
If maybe once you did something other than critisize,
Maybe if you had seen a tear,
Maybe she would still be here.

She wasn't okay,
She never had been,
She had never been mended,
You're the one who broke her,
Just step away.
And watch your daughter fade away.

I hope you wish you were dead,
I hope you feel eternal regret.
I hope you never forget.

She wasn't okay,
She was never mended,
Just step back,
And watch her fade away.
