» Poem: Running Back To What's Killing Me
Running Back To What's Killing Me

I'm craving and I'm starving again for your words,
I'm weakened and wounded but I guess I'll never learn,
You can cause me so much damage, so much eternal harm,
But I'll keep tripping, falling, until I'm in your arms.
You appeared, from nowhere out of crowd,
My head was screaming but your whispers were loud,
You told me to follow you, one more time again,
I could almost taste the lies riding on your breath,
You took my in your arms and held me close,
You swore one final time you'd never let me go,
I put my lips on your yours and tasted your tears,
And pushed you away and watched you dissapear,
I wont lie to myself anymore,
I should have done this before.
