Envy

That you fed me to my Inner Demons?
You took away the Only Man I’ve ever Loved
Do you ever consider the Hurt
You brought upon my Destiny?
By bewitching the Only Man I’ve ever Wanted
I guess you don’t think about me
Why should you
All the worries of the world must seem of few Importance in His Arms
-Deliver me from this Unbearable Envy-
Do you ever see me twitch
When you mention Him with caring eyes?
Every time I’m a little more Miserable than before
I try hard not to give in to the Never ending Tears who call on me
Every time I see you Kiss the One I Love
And I pray to God for peace of mind
-Deliver me from this Unbearable Envy-
I try to cling to my Sanity
When He gives me one of those Wicked Smiles
My eyes must light up like I’ve seen Heaven’s most Precious Treasure
And when He strokes His hand over my cheek,
Just to say I’m a dear friend to Him,
I’m afraid He must be able to hear the pounding of my Desirous Heart
Is this Vexation going to last forever?
-Deliver me from this Unbearable Envy-
In this Pathetic state of mind
I’m just waiting for my common sense to return
But as time goes by, I seem to lose all my hope for Deliverance
Do you ever stop to think
That you contributed to my Eternal Damnation?
Why should you
Who cares about Envious Souls when you’re locked in His Arms. |
