Reflection
written by bloodangel137706:51 PM 4/20/05i finally look up, seeing the girl
staring back at me with a pained
expression on her face.
She blinks and shakes her head
then sighs and fakes a smile
her mouth opens but no words
come out.
She glances down at my scars
and winces
she looks deep into my eyes
and i see the tears start to
gather in hers
She gently whisper " how could it
get to this? this far?
i reach out to touch her only to feel
a solid and cold item come between us.
i try again only to fail.
So there i sit on the floor, stroking the
glass. the mirror image somehow soothing
my own pain |

This is truly the best poem i have ever wrote, so much emotion in it. I have actually done this before. I feel ashamed to feel this way so much, but i guess depression must live somewhere, am i right?
