» Poem: When I was a Little Girl
When I was a Little Girl
written by runes8mysoul
08:13 PM 4/20/05
When I was a little girl
I laughed and played all day
I wore ribbons in my hair
And ran without a care

When I was a little girl
I sang with the birds
I danced to music in my head
And twirled about with my arms overhead

When I was a little girl
I found a clearing in the woods
The woods where I played
The woods where I layed

I saw
They saw
He came
I never felt such shame

When I was a little girl
The world turned dark
The flowers and rain stopped singing
And the beauty started dying

When I was a little girl
