» Poem: Just Like The Wind
Just Like The Wind
written by PalirBeauJeanne

I'm gone, just like the wind
All you ever had of me is in a box
With my name carved on it
You can take away my pride, take away my heart Leave me cold and bare
I'm gone, just like the wind

I've been walking down these old roads
Splintering my blood soaked feet in your abuse
But as I tread onto lost memories
I only thoes faded
Cut up in razor blade pain

Once I sought salvation
You said you'd set me free
I held tight and believed
But you turned a cold back
Leaving me a bitter silence and tears

Salvation was forever
Forever to try to hold on
And forever I bore heavy crosses

Now I'm gone, just like the wind
All you ever loved is in that box
With my name carved on it
I was stripped of hope, gave up on life
Cold and bare
I'm dead, just like the wind
