» Poem: Myth's End
Myth's End
written by DarkRage
09:11 AM 4/21/05
Can you not see what lies ahead
Spilling forth from your head
Heart bleeds life force away
Wanting never swayed
But to keep this broken tale
Words so worn, truth so stale
That it should beckon a second chance
From but a silhouette turned into a glance
Thoughts not spoken in many years
Masked to hide the fear
Given sacrifices
Never enough
Secrets you hold
To be bought and never sold
Still you keep
As you fail into sleep
Not to wake once more
From truth to lore
