Don’t let me walk this road alone
written by Death Tone11:52 AM 4/21/05Don’t let me walk this road alone
Don’t leave me shouting your name aloud
Into the eternal abysses that awaits
Hold me close when the tears stream down my face
Hold me closer when a smile appears upon my lips
I am broken, but don’t try to mend my heart
Don’t shed a tear for no one is worth your pain
I am the invisible force that’s watching over you for all eternity
Making sure that you never feel one ounce of discomfort in your life
I will be a shadow in the background of your life
Never becoming visible but always being there
A dagger pieces my heart every time we say the words goodbye
My head drops, I walk alone, wandering round
Looking everywhere for my forgotten
Will I ever find the one I am looking for
The second you leave a rain cloud appears over my head
Leaving me to wither away thinking about the one that I have lost
Will she ever return, will she come home to where she belongs
Her place is in my heart but will she ever realise this again
Its one place that she can always call home
I cant express what you mean to me
Words are just that, nothing but words
There is an ocean between us
And that ocean gets bigger with every tear I shed
I need you in my life
There is a hole in my heart that only you can feel |
