» Poem: Waiting for paradise
Waiting for paradise
written by gcgothichick

Blood is spilling
and tears stream down upon every face
some feel this cold chilling
while others hearts start to race.

Black in the midnight sky
wraps around you
as you fall into a come
right before you die.

In more ways then one
people continue to suffer
some not so much
but others, a ton

Some people are full of hunger
while others
lose their lover
and then fall into
the depth of hate
as they murder
their new dates.

People all around
some dead bodies to be found
and even inside a crowd
when you listen
there's no sound.

No matter how hard you try
you'll never be able o find
another happy soul
in this darkness
out in the cold.

So before you let go
you should know
that if you just open your eyes
and wait for the sun to rise
then after a few awful nights
this place may just become
paradise.
