» Poem: Her Desire
Her Desire
written by 11
04:30 PM 4/21/05
She walks away.
Like she’s running away .
The trail in her backyard.
She wishes it could take her somewhere.
Somewhere where she could
Forget what’s bothering her.
The trail is old, but new to her.
Her life is old, yet she wishes
Something was new,
Something was exciting,
Something was spectacular.
She wants an adventure.
An adventure so wonderful
She can’t even begin to describe it.
Anything to get away
She’s walking away…
