Perfectly Flawed

And I see a painting
Oh so perfectly flawed
So beautiful you seem
In all your dark glory
But what do you hide
Deep in your eyes
What do they have to show?
Behind the curtain you put up
You who are so perfectly flawed
To me your flaws make you
Perfect.
To me your ARE perfect
But I wish to know your
Deepest secrets
But knowing you will never tell
Doesn’t make you any less perfect
To me
Still no matter what you do
You will always be perfectly flawed.
I wish to know you
The true you, the one you hide
Deep inside.
The one that is the flawed
Combined with the one that is perfect
Perfectly flawed.
That is what you are
And always will be.
In all your dark glory
You stand
So perfectly flawed |
