» Poem: Just Two Days
Just Two Days
written by PerplexinglyFalseReality

How long has it been since we spoke?
Just two days?
Immpossible. The agony i feel from being without your sweet voice cannot be from two days time.
But it is.
In just two days my chest has tightened up
and my mind has fixed on you
Ah. I see. A revelation hits me as i write.
How obvious. And it took me two days.
I look at your picture.
The one I took night.
The night you told me you'd never smile in a picture.
I guess you were happy. Or maybe amused
But seeing the ever so slight upturned corners of your mouth...i understand.
I know why i feel that i need your voice after just two days.
It's so simple i don't know how i missed it.
I've fallen in love with you.
