» Poem: Stay Who You Are
Stay Who You Are
written by utsukushii_jouyouheki

Remember those good old days,
When we promised forever, that we'd be friends,
Until the end.

Hanging out in school,
Knowing we were the fools,
Has faded into dust.

Talking about boys and secrets,
Making the most stupid bets,
But I've lost the trust.

And on these final days,
You changed.
Once you stopped hanging out with your friends,
You took on one of those magazine trends.

So I've said this before,
But not to your face,
I should have,
But I was afraid I'd be out of place.

Come back; I'm asking you please,
You went out too far,
I'll tell you this and hope it sticks,
Stay who you really are.
