» Poem: A Little Token
A Little Token
written by HowlinWolf
05:29 AM 4/22/05
I found a little token today
It's old and rusted
It doesn't look much good
None of the locks belong to it, though
So I wonder where it might've come from
It isn't mine
Nobody lost it either
At least, I haven't heard
Whoever it belonged to,
and wherever it came from,
it is now mine
This small trinket will remind me to lock certain doors
And if I lose it, surely I'll forget that
I found a little token today
