» Poem: a Joyful poem
a Joyful poem
written by butcakes
05:57 AM 4/22/05
people filled with love hold hands
running through fields of lucious grass
daisies with butterflies hovering over them
not a care in the world for things that will pass

the sun is shining, the sky is blue
the grass and wide shady trees are all green
white fluffy rabbits are running in the distance
so picturesque - like nothing iv'e ever seen

the air is thick and living is easy to do
feeling the warmth from the suns rays
there's no such thing as pain or suffering
nothing but joy and satisfaction fills my days

waves crashing in the distance
as a rainbow forms on the canvas called 'sky'
doves in flight who's landing strips are the colours
there is no reason in this place to ask 'why?'

as i sit by a tree in the shade it provides
feeling the wind on my skin as it passes by
i realise this is how it was always meant to be
i lay back, relax, and with nice thoughts, i sigh...
