couple years ago (long but please read)

as any other day
everything was normal
but it wouldn't stay that way
i went about my business
and did what needed to be done
then mommy came home
and said we'd have some fun
i got all excited
putting on my best dress
mommy was going to take me out
i couldn't be a mess
she said it was a secret
that i could tell no one
so as i threw the key away
i promised it could be done
we drove for hours and hours
out into the sky
riding into the sunset
without a thought of why
my anticipation was growing
with every single mile
the night was falling over us
i was smiling all the while
a small shack came into sight
with just a little glow
a small fear in me
slowly started to grow
i looked all around
but no one was there
not a soul could be found
the thought raised my hair
i started to panic
wondering what was to come
mommy wasn't happy
how could i have been so dumb
she didn't want to take me anywhere
that would be any fun
she wanted to do something bad
something a normal mom wouldn't have done
we drove down the drive way
and a tall man came into sight
then i realized who it was
and tears filled my eyes
that night i saw my daddy
as another man
this beast wasn't my daddy
so i jumped out and ran
mommy stopped the car
her eyes filled with fury
she yelled at my daddy
to get off his ass and hurry
so he ran into the dark
yelling the meanest things
like "get back here you little fuck!"
but i tried not to think
trying to hurry while racing time
i ran into the woods
daddy's footsteps getting closer
i was running as fast as i could
the darkness was starting to blind me
and i was starting to fall weak
i felt a cold chill down my spine
then i heard my daddy speak
"i got you now little girl
no place left to hide
i can hear you panting
and you i will find
i'll follow your every footstep
i can hear the crunching leaves
you can never get away
for me, you cannot decieve"
i then got a nother chill
and could feel the pain to come
then daddy grabbed my hair
and i tried to run
so when i ran, i fell straight back
and daddy just gripped tighter
and he dragged me by my hair
he told me not to fight it
i got dragged back to the little shack
and dadddy turned on the lights
mommy and daddys were standing tall
they were demons of the night
i could smell a distinct odor
then i figured everything out
the sent of alcohol lingered
then i let out a single shout
i knew i was in grave danger
because mommy and daddy were drunk
they duct taped my mouth shut
and said i was a little punk
they tied me up to a chair
then turned off all the lights
thye wanted to torture me
and knew i couldn't put up a fight
i was so defenseless
anticipating what was to come
i could hear their footsteps
and the loading of the gun
i heard the sound of knifes
being sharpened to their best
the mystery was killing me
then cold fingers touched my neck
i heard mommy's voice
ask me if i was ready
all i could do was skwirm
the i felt it slow and steady
mommy's knife ran down my side
and back up towards my heart
how cold mommy do this to me
with my life i was not ready to part
getting sick of messing around
mommy hurried along
mommy took the knife to my kneck
and slit it nice and strong
thinking that this was not enough
daddy took the gun
held it up right next to my head
pulled the trigger and all was gone
these people weren't my parents
was the fault all my own
were mommy and daddy acting this way
because i did something wrong
back then i was only 8
when this day came around
it was a couple of years ago
but now i'm in the ground |
