» Poem: Water on the Wrist
Water on the Wrist
written by rayikari
04:38 AM 4/23/05
pearly dew drops on my hand...
cool, satisfying...small drops of clean water.
dew drops left on my face...
their gental kiss leaving little residue.

hot steamy water running through the faucet...
i quickly thrust my wrist under the current,
feeling the sweet sensation of pain running in my veins.
water running through my heart, nothing left but pain...

Dancing in the rain...
The wet drops falling in place on my damp face.
Dancing around in circles...
My feet feeling every drop of rain...

Hot boiling water, stinging my tender skin...
I scream, feeling the sting run through my very flesh...
Water stinging my senses...
Distorting my vision...

Am I suicidal?
Or just plain insane!
Never again shall i feel the stab of anger...
The pain is all i need...
