All Alone
written by DarkRage12:47 PM 4/23/05The question asked
The deed tasked
But for a moment
All else ceases to exist
The answer given
Never forgiven
But for a moment
All else tries to resist
The end comes quick
With the sound of a click
No feeling of premonition
Stunned beyond recognition
Eyes start to flutter
Mouth gasps and stutters
Nothing makes sense
Body goes all tense
Down you go falling
No one to hear you calling
As you lay still as a stone
Sensations all thrown
Blackness takes hold
Body goes cold
Nothing calls you home
You’re left all alone |
