Creature of the night*8

It is the air i breathe,
The sunshine blinds me,
It makes me heave.
The stars in the sky,
The sounds of the night,
The eerie clangings,
Where's the fright?
Other's panic in my home,
But to me it is perfect,
It has pure beauty,
Some say therapuetic.
Knowing i can't say what's round the corner,
The darkness eases my mind,
It makes me feel insecure yet safe,
As i can leave it all behind. |
