» Poem: Sunbeams
Sunbeams
written by Sugar Free
08:28 PM 8/11/04
I cannot be hidden in the darkness
I inspire people to hope
To KNow that tomorrow will always come
To dream

One ray can make prisms dance
and children laugh
It can break through the gloom
To shed light

One beam can real a rainbow
that leads to a promised pot of gold
Or discover a smile
that leads to the heart

And one sun-kissed flower
Seen through the eyes of a believer
can set an imagination of fire
with visions of LIGHT of the world
