» Poem: gloomy days
gloomy days

random musings by me
Moods can fluxuate,
like the brightness of daylight
to the darkness of night.

After days of gloom,
you get used to the cloudy days
and start to accept it as norm.

Then comes the joyous days of sunshine
and the sign of dark clouds on the horizon
bring dread to another stretch of dark days.

Worry of impending clouds and rain
can poison the current joy in sunshine.
But who can really forcast what is to come
or how long it will last?
