» Poem: Ring
Ring
written by TowelytheThing
12:06 AM 5/10/04
There is a ring,
On my hand,
On one finger,
Between two others.
It was given to me.
By a friend.
He said, remember me,
I won't always be there.
I called my firend,
On the phone,
I heard his voice.
Saying I behold a ring.
I criend and cried.
Knowing I wasn't his one.
But only a mere shadow.
Of what he's become.
