» Poem: The end of the world
The end of the world
written by TowelytheThing

I stood there
On the hill
Looking past the wind
And beyond the sea
All lit up in flames
And full of corpses
Blood rushed down my face
And the sun in a dark sky,
showed no grace
The grey clouds covered-
What was left to be seen
Eyes were red
It was to seem
Scratches and cuts
Wounded me
I couldn't tell
If it was true to all
It's the end of the world
And more explodes
The war heads blast off
Into the distance
Seperating canyons
Into the ocean
Of what's only left to be
My body grew weary
And my scars were deep
I couldn't stand it anymore
I wanted an everlasting sleep
Like the world is all dead
And I was the last one
It's the end of the world
As we know it
And I want to die
Forevermore
