The Last Moments in Life

are in reality only short.
no matter how much we learn.
something new could always be taught.
even those little things that are hardly shown.
like friendship, love and trust.
they all matter to the owner.
believe that is what we must.
for when we die, and die we all shall.
we always think, in deep old sorrow.
we always morn, and ask 'why them'
but fear that not, there is still tomorrow.
we can pay our respects, not just in tears.
we can love them still, for in our hearts they dwell.
shown it or not, as long as it was felt.
they always knew, you may not have to tell.
but in that final time, their own special moment.
they know we cared, we did our best.
shown or not, they knew they were loved.
they know in heaven is where they rest.
they fly away, their wings out stretched.
leaving this world, but our hearts they stay.
we wish them hope, on the journey ahead.
God holds a torch, he lights their way. |

when we die its not the end, its the final chapter from one story, but the prologue to another. old or young, we all die soon. nobody knows when or how, it just happens. so treat others with respect, choose your words carefully, they may be the last they hear.
