Look Inside

I'd slit my wrists
And die for you
You don't know
How many times
I've lied for you
I've cut myself
And bled for you
I'd give up everything
Just to be held by you

My eyes are blurry
Bleeding icy tears
That scar my face and hands
No matter how I cry out for you
My body lies bruised in the sand
I don't know how much more
My melancholy heart can handle
Before it shatters into a million glassy shards
That will be placed upon your mantle

I'd slit my wrists
And die for you
You don't know
How many times
I've lied for you
I've cut myself
And bled for you
I'd give up everything
Just to be held by you

Will you never realize
Or even just imagine
If you would help me
Cover my bloody arms
A call from beyond
Answers my desperate cries
And searches for the answers
But really didn't want to find
