Prayers in the Night

You have said you have seen the light
now You dedicate your life to God
you dedicate your life to the book written by the man of a mortal man
and in the night I heard you speaking of your new found faith
but still your sins are to be faced
erase me from your life I don't see anything eye to eye with you anymore
nothing will be like it was before
your dedication somewhat makes me sick
we've become completely different misfits
this isn't going to work for I am a true child of the night
and I love, and live for everything in the darkness, and you now live for everything that leads to
a holy light
You live for a holy life, and to see that different light
I live for the dark, I live for the difference
Your prayers are heard by my ears
words of the prayers I never thought I'd hear
Good-Bye my friend
I don't think we will ever meet again... |
