» Poem: Puppet
Puppet
written by Misery
10:41 PM 8/26/04
I am pathetic in a sick sort of way
I was made into a puppet today
Sorry that I fell apart on you
My wooden pieces have broken in two
After all the hard games that we've played
And all the lies together we made
You think I would have learned by now
Im just a plaything, a shattered clown
Broken as I lay on your bedroom floor
I am watching in wonder as you walk through the door
I once was your favorite toy
But today you me told a different story
Of how you would leave me before long
What could I have done wrong
Puppets dont cry, yet tears fall from my puppet eyes
Abandoned with the hope you will soon return
