the perfectly unperfect girl

with many friends
active in sports
and good at them all
she's always getting honoroll
and the teachers love her
she's beautiful
with blonde hair and blue eyes
she's every guys' dream
she sounds perfect, right?
well, what everyone
doesn't know is that
every night when she gets home
her father beats her
her mother yells at her
telling her how worthless she is
she cries herself to sleep every night
and when she wakes up the next day
she puts a smile upon her face
and prays for a better day. |
