» Poem: Alone in my suffering
Alone in my suffering
written by SilentScreamsofDeath
02:36 AM 9/2/04
Drowning in the depth of despair.
Hello? Is there anyone there?
Someone aware? Someone to care?
Alone

A heavy burden bearing down.
Relentlessly crushing, grinding 'round.
There's no help, no hope to be found.
Alone.

No one to hear my cries of pain.
Loneliness, such an evil thing.
Loosing my grip, going insane.
Alone.

When Christ was nailed to the tree
He felt, "God, you've forsaken me!"
Suffering all the agony.
Alone.

Death pitied Him, granting Him peace.
Life and pain did suddenly cease.
From this torment was release.
Alone.
