» Poem: the lie
the lie
written by devil-dick
10:29 PM 9/2/04
i smile sweetly, i say i do.
i kiss your cheek, and hold you close.
the crowd uproars, as we leave the church.
with your flowers, and a blood red rose.
so of we go, the sunset nears.
always there to fight your fears.
so with you i stay, my life alie.
and you never asked a single why.
so why do i live, and why do i care.
what happened to the love i should share.
