just a dream

i walk up to you
you give me a kiss
and tell me i was missed
we go out
and have a great time
oh how i love that you're mine
next day
i call you
no answer
i try again
and again
still, no answer
i drive over to your house
knock on the door
no answer, yet again
but i know you're home
i see your car
i trying turning the knob
its unlocked
i let myself in
i know its like breaking in
but you didnt answer
so bad thoughts are running through my head
what if something happened to you!?
i walk upstairs
push open your door
all i see is you
and her
in the same bed
Her!
what the hell is she doing here
i start yelling at you
you tell me to listen
and let you explain
but i believe this situation is self-explainitory
i run downstairs crying
i slam the door behind me
all of a sudden i wake up
tears are rolling down my cheeks
i'm all sweaty and breathing hard
thank god it was all
just a dream . . .
or was it? |
