fake smile

would just understand me
notice the pain in my eyes
and see that my smile is fake
i wish someone
would just come along
take me by the hand
and tell me everything will be okay now
someone to talk to
and to tell them my fears
someone who can see my tears
and someone who will care
because i cant bare all this pain anymore
its getting to be too much
no one will listen to me
they're either too busy with their boyfriends
or they just dont give a damn
about how i feel
i feel dead inside
like somethings killing me
from the inside out
i guess i'll keep hiding my pain
behind this fake smile
until someone comes along that understands me |

| i comepletley understand how you feel here.. in fact i think you put it in better words than i did.. mine is called "tears of acid" because i do cry.. but i also put on a fake smile.. and no one see how much i hurt inside |
