Losing

I stare into the dark and I call out
I have no one that I can thank for this
I don't know what this life is about
I'm entranced by the power you have held
Do you need me do you hear my whisper
Have you noticed how my eyes have now swelled
I have noticed how you are sinister
Say it isn't so, say it isn't true
Holding up best I can, alone I stand
I never trusted you, but I miss you
I'm flying high, I don't think I can land
Another war against myself today
I loved you once why can't you stay,please stay
