How Should I Feel?

that all this is real
what am i supposed to do
how should i feel?
should i feel fear...
happiness...
coldness...
sadness...?
nothing makes sense
to me now
everything is spinning
and i don't know how
why must things
turn out this way
things are so bad
here, i cannot stay
but these chains hold me
ever so tightly
i wish they would be loosened
even just slightly
so i can slip away
from all my fears
that approach me
when i am here
they torture and
torment me
all i ask is
to be set free
so i can be happy
and maybe even glad
that i am living
and not wishing i were dead |
