» Poem: Her attention; I crave
Her attention; I crave
written by Mars_Phoenix

What about those that fought in water so deep;
Lungs that won't hold a secret,
Till my breath escapes.
Trapped under ice,
And with no one to tell it to.

Hold on to what I tell you to,
Got myself to pull me through.
I don't need you,
OK maybe i do.

I wish i could shine, so all would turn their heads away,
To look on the surface, to protect what i keep inside.

I wish I could see through her reflection,
I wish she'd bare her soul.
But i'll forever be a ghost to her,
At least thats how this storys told.

Open up your eyes its me,
I'm standing here, why can't you see?
In every word I shall remain,
Truely yours for eternity.
Don't you understand my love?
The more things change,
The more they remain the same.

So friend as you read,
Look past tired eyes and heavy hands,
For to hang my toubles upon your shoulder would be an honour
That im denied.
