American Smile

Bedside stories and whispers under sheets.
Suprise her with a kiss, to see her eyes
And mine own meet.
To stare into her and to know myself.
Her tears, on my shoulder fall.
Rejuvenation in every waking moment,
As her presence fills my heart - Till we grew apart.
In text books and dusty halls
I was to be found spending my time,
With a shadow on my back.
Incomplete.
Broken.
I wish I was invisible,
I wish I was an empty glass.
Tears.
The signs that tell the story.
Our callous diary entries.
America in color, set flash;
Kodak smile...
A photograph that was sent to remind me,
Of her hair in the morning after glow,
As it shimmered and danced with the leaves.
We used to race to the back door,
And the old trail
Which carried us away....
Silver bikes in the mid November show.
Race me to the house that held
For me, so long,
Girly cries and laughter,
Where we promised to be in love for ever after.
I turn my head and smile.
My girl has caught me up,
She's brought me home.
And shes back now I know,
I hear her footsteps scrunching through the snow,
As she jumps on my back to hold me tight,
I feel her skin and breathe her love all through the night. |

this is not my best, but its my favourite. i dunno why but iam really happy with this cuz...its just really happy memories of good times.
