» Poem: For You |
For You
written by Mars_Phoenix06:53 PM 9/11/04Her eyes like cool blue pools
Sweep through the tranquil valley I call my heart.
Her skin, a bath of rose petals and white wine,
A texture I delight to taste so fine.
I think I love her;
No, silence my lips,
I Know.
Every word does her no justice,
Not a thousand verses of your finest,
Nor your greatest player could tame her spirit and part.
For her favour
I'd cast the stars back into heaven,
For no one but me dare look upon her face and know
That this is beauty to behold.
Her soul and voice a dream in time,
Faint sounds of angel choirs and symphonies sing your name,
On every gentle breeze through summers air.
My inspiration,
My desire,
My love,
Resides in you. |
