Faithful at your grave
written by Lovely_Suicide06:12 AM 9/16/04I hear your heart beat
Listening to it repeat
Then there is silence
It leaves me feeling so cold
My untold suffering
I know your dead
I just dont want to admit it
I'm filled with so much dread
I just want to quit
From love
I thought it was like a dove
But it's not
It tied a knot
Around my heart
I know i couldn't depart
Now im here drenched in your death
Trying to pray that you will take aother breath
You were my love
My dove
But now your gone
You my swan
Dead beside me
Death captured you
You didn't even disagree
Now all i can do it look over what seems untrue
your dear dead body
I'll have to bury you out in the yard
Even though im severly scarred
I'll cry for all the things we didn't do
I didn't even get to say thankyou
For the new feeling you gave me
I'll bury you under the tree
I'll weep all my tears
The sky will overflow with my fears
I'll stay here
Year after year
Placing a flower on your grave everyday
Even though the world is grey
I'll keep the painting of you near
To make sure your always here
Nothing can fill the silence
My world will fog with no sound
I will never be found
Under this tree
Where i will never be free
Everyday i will shed tears
Cry a million fears
My hair will age
This story will turn another page
But i'll wait forever here
Just hoping you will feel the pain and loss from all my tears. |
