War Song
written by Mars_Phoenix

Brothers;
Old whispers on the winds,
Songs sung in the silence,
Echo down the corridors of our time.

For a girl stands waiting on the shore,
Atired in black she holds a rose,
Alone her eyes stray into the past,
As the sun gathers up this scene,
A single tear trails down her soft white cheek.
Basking in the sunlight she is glorious like an ice queen.
Her song is sung on every wave,
Her voice is heard within the soul of every mother
Who lost a son,
For every daughter who lost a brother.

So let us dance in the snow,
And we'll sing the songs
Of youth and love,
And never forget the brothers who went,
For our memories will bring them home.
