» Poem: Workings of a Damaged Mind
Workings of a Damaged Mind
written by psycho_bunny

The light in the shadows,
I'm rearangeing what matters,
makeing sure nothing now clatters in my mind,
because I'm pressing rewind,
going backward in time,
finding out what I lost that was mine.

I accept what I am,
and I'm willing to stand true,
turn around and come through,
I believe I know you,
and I'll always be there,
to tell you where,
when the lights go out,
when the darkness fades,
and all there is is grey.

My heart might be stolen,
but I'm still growing,
finding out what I want,
makeing mistakes,
finding out what breaks.

But my heart is always yours,
even when you think its lost,
I come back without a cross,
carrying your love,
I feel like I'm something from above when I know your around,
you turn my world upside down,
and you give me a crown when I think I'm down.

You gave me the insperation to keep liveing,
and now you still keep giveing.
