» Poem: Reflecting one image
Reflecting one image
written by Lovely_Suicide
07:25 AM 9/23/04
Looking up into my mirror
I see this hideous face
I don't want it to get any clearer
But it does again with such grace
Im feelng so hollow
I can feel the glass breaking
With one swallow
My head dosn't stop aching
I can see the blood flowing down my face
Falling into my eyes
It runs at such a quick pace
Covering me in disguise

Shutting my eyes
I reopen them
I face myself in the mirror again
I see myself as normal
Weak and frail
No blood running down my face
No mirror in my head

Shutting this mirror out
I turn around and re-encounter my shadow
Reflecting what i just saw
No use in screaming
It won't work
Facing my reflection
With so much fear.
