» Poem: Drunk's death dream
Drunk's death dream
written by Lovely_Suicide
12:54 PM 9/24/04
Chugging down that beer
Draining out that ciggarete
Gray hair formed on your head
Falling into heaps on your shoulders
Getting up you throw your beer bottle at the wall
Staining that wall with your stored up anger
Grinding out your ciggarete on the floor
Squeezing hate into the floor
Slumping down on your worn out sofa
Going into a deep sleep

You have a dream
Of who you are
Cleaning floors for a living
Drinking away life to hide your pain
Smoking to handle your stress
Taking pills for something you don't even have

You see yourself getting older
Hating the world
Praising it with anger
Littering it with your stored up problems
And dying at home alone
On this sofa

Stained walls closing you in
Littered carpet lining the room
Smelling of vomit, drugs and alochol
You die alone
No sign of a mourning husband
No funeral to be held from people that cared

You will die alone
From your anger and hate
Your selfishness towards everyone
The uncaring act you pretended to have
But instead lost and lonely eager for company and love

Your dream dosn't end
It will last, haunting you
As you die within this dream
Your hate and anger draiend of your face
Your tense and angry face released
Showing pain and mouring

To late for you to turn back
To show everyone your true self
Death ceased you from your chance to change things
But you already had a chance but you ignored it
Didn't take it seriously
Now your dead

No more warnings or chances
Locked inside the cage of death
No mourning tears
Just nothing
Just the smell of ciggaretes and alochol
All around.

It`s a good poem. It kind of sounded like what might happen to my mom.
