» Poem: Why do you look at me?
Why do you look at me?
written by Mars_Phoenix

Frameless your face fades into the wall,
A picture where i'm left behind
I fall.
Still, I'll float on this dream for a while.
I've forgotton why you look at me at all.

And I won't pretend,
To be in love with you,
To feel your lips,
In a haze of red
You take me to your bed;
But I want to try,
Try to be more than just a fantasy,
To be that boy you love instead
Of being the guy you took to bed.

When all the world is held in your eyes,
Capture me I beg you please,
And with every playfull bight
You leave behind a lie.

But i'll hold your hand,
I might as well play along,
Awash on the beach covered in sand,
I'll hold onto you forever,
As long as your with me now,
I'll run my hands through your hair,
And I'll kiss away all the tears,
Even though your killing me,
In the space between that little tear,
I see you see me.
