Carve Your Name Into My Arm
written by Morbid Angel11:03 PM 9/25/04I carved your name into my arm because I can't keep you anywhere, because I knew what would you say when you were looking around everywhere, when you wouldn't look into my eyes because you were ashamed, ashamed at what you were about to say, So when you said it you turned away. "I don't love you anymore, I'm sorry that I hurt you." But you're not sorry at all, your words are no longer meaningful. So I carved your name into my arm, nowhere else to keep you, I keep pounding at the door, the door that you walked out through, when you left me gently bleeding here, you just threw at me some tissue. I had to bleed it all away because I didn't have anywhere else to go, and I promise you I still love you more then you could ever know, and I'm sorry that I pissed you off, I'm sorry that we argued, but I'll never be sorry that I fell in love, I'll never be sorry for my loss of blood, I carved your name into my arm for a reason, not just for fun, I bled for you because I loved you |
