Metal Heart/Thornless Rose

A rose is never the same if it comes without a petal, but theres no love in your heart, how can there be? It's made of metal. Too hard to break or let anyone in, You could never love anyone, let alone me. And baby it consumes me because I'm drowning in your hate, It's consuming me and predicting my fate, telling me I'm going under at a fast pace. But I swear to go i'm not going to listen, I'm pulling myself out, the blood from my wrists will stop dripping, and I swear to go you won't hold me down. With your metal heart, unbreakable and cold, with nothing inside it, it's just a hollow hate mould. There's someone out there who will love me and give me a thornless rose, It's time to escape the path that I chose, and I'll run to him with open arms, because I swear this place isn't where I belong |
