Broken Wing

That stays on her mind
When all the others
Have left her behind
She's left to herself
Stuck on the ground
When everyone else
Is flying around
She flys with a stagger
As she goes along her way
But she comes to sing to me
Every single day
Her song is more beautiful
Than any other bird
I forget that she is broken
Once her song I have heard
And then in a moment
With a tear in her eye
She hops away
With out a good bye
Her lonliness is caused
By her broken wing
When she is not flying, though
She begins to sing
