» Poem: Hurt You Anyway
Hurt You Anyway
written by Morbid Angel
07:41 PM 10/4/04
From this endless dark we keep trying to run,
Running towards a darkening sun,
But in the end I know our path will change,
I know I'll only hurt you anyway

Whats the point in running blind?
What is it we really need to find?
Because I know you will never be mine,
And even if you were I'd only hurt you anyway

Whats the point in trying if we'll only drown?
I'll only hurt you and you'll pull me down,
It's an endless circle and we'll keep going round,
Whats the point in trying if I'll only hurt you anyway
