» Poem: Because You Tore Me Apart
Because You Tore Me Apart
written by Morbid Angel

Once we were lovers, once we were dreamers, you and me, Once I meant something, we were you and I, And what about your lies? You fed them to me inside, When it broke you tore me open to release them out, And that is what hurt me most, more then any other cut, more then a scar on my arm, because you broke my heart and tore me up, Knowing you would cause harm, On the outside you seemed like a dream, on the inside it was just a never ending chain, of lies and hurting, and the usual pain. Nothing can ever save me, not now you've left me with a hole in my heart, no one will ever want me, because you tore me apart.
